Reaffirming our Commitment to Accessible Editorial Support
Welcome to TEA Delivered, the newsletter of The Editorial Ally (TEA)!
Even just one week into 2026, it’s impossible not to feel the strain and overwhelm of living in a world that feels far removed from the values that many of us hold dear. These are not normal times, and continuing to write and publish can seem overwhelming, if not superfluous, in the face of intense geopolitical turmoil.
That being said, many of us need to continue to publish: for our jobs, for ourselves, and for the contributions we can share with the world.
This year, TEA is doubling down on its commitment to making editorial support as accessible as possible. At TEA, authors are encouraged to “cherry pick” the services they need. In other words, reach out when you are stuck and carry on independently when you aren’t. Oftentimes, targeted, low-cost services can give authors the tools they need to push through a challenge, such as crafting an outline, revising chapter summaries, polishing a project description, or vetting a very early draft. In addition to focused support, TEA offers economical group services, and writing tips are always free at TEA Delivered.
Of course, if you reach a point where comprehensive support is needed and financially possible, complete structural and line editing services for book manuscripts, chapters, and articles, as well as book proposals, are also available.
Keep writing (and revising), friends. Writing is possible, projects can get done, and we will continue to move forward together.
